At the end of the day, we’re surrounded by screens, noise, tasks and constant input. So when I design a light for a bedroom, I don’t want it to simply illuminate the room. I want it to change the feeling of it ✨

Warm light has the ability to soften edges, slow everything down and make a space feel more intimate.

What I love most about this piece is not only the light itself, but the shadows it creates. The way it reaches across the wall makes the lamp feel different depending on the time, the angle and the mood of the room.

For me, that is what good lighting should do.

Not just help you see a space.
Help you feel it.

LOST IN SIMPLICITY

✨ It’s been a long time since I let myself disappear into paint like this again.

I don’t start with a plan. I just sit down, mixing colours, following a feeling and keep going. One shape becomes another, then another, and suddenly there is this little family right in front of me.

They came from a mood, an impulse, from simply making without overthinking.

There is something very special about creating without knowing what you are trying to create, and then suddenly looking at what is in front of you and thinking: there you are ✨

There is something deeply calming about making things with your own hands 🤍

For me, designing lamps is more than creating an object. It is the feeling of taking an idea from my mind and slowly turning it into something real. Something I can touch, shape, test, adjust and finally build.

I love that moment when the light turns on and suddenly the whole room feels different.

There is something very human about making things by hand. Psychologically, creating with our hands can bring us into the present moment. It slows the mind down. It gives our thoughts somewhere to go. It connects imagination with the body.

Maybe that is why I love lighting so much. Light itself is emotional. It can make us feel safe, calm, inspired or at home. And when I build a lamp, I am not only thinking about how it looks. I am thinking about how it will make someone feel.

That is the part I love most.

Creating something real.
Creating something warm.
Creating something that changes the atmosphere of a space.

I have always loved the moment when light changes a surface.

A plain wall can feel quiet, almost unnoticed. But when the right lamp is placed there, everything shifts. Texture becomes visible. Shadows begin to move. The room suddenly has depth, warmth and a feeling of intention.

For me, this is what makes lighting so special. It is not only about brightness. It is about atmosphere. About creating a small moment in the room that makes you pause.

Manchmal glaube ich, dass wir uns unser eigenes kleines Paradies erschaffen müssen. Schritt für Schritt, Detail für Detail. 🌿✨

Ein Ort, an dem wir absolute Freiheit spüren können und wo alles Grenzenlose plötzlich ganz greifbar wird. Für mich beginnt dieses Gefühl in den kleinen Dingen: in den Formen, Farben und dem Licht, das uns umgibt.

Meine Hängelampe ist genau aus diesem Gedanken entstanden: ein selbstgemachtes Kunstwerk, das täglich daran erinnert, dass wir unsere Träume selbst gestalten können.

Jede von uns hat ihre ganz eigene Art, dieses Paradies zu finden.
